I tried attaching a Moto-Whale side bag to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It’s more like a cooler bag than a cloth. It’s made of the same material and is designed to be supported on the saddle, so the left and right sides can support each other. It might rust a bit if the wind is strong, but it’s made of waterproof material and has a pretty design.

After placing the order, it arrived in 3 days. I was able to purchase it for about 5700 yen using a coupon. I was expecting some level of quality since it was cheap, but I was pleasantly surprised in a good way. It’s really good. The fabric and construction are solid, so I think we can expect waterproofing. Installation is for Tricity 155. If installed on top of the seat, the Metin Space cannot be used in the Triton case, and the side bag needs to be removed each time for refueling, so I attached it by crossing two belts on either side under the seat. When fixed with the central Velcro, it will cover the inside of the bag, so the Velcro is folded back on both sides. I wonder if it will strengthen the contact part on the bike side. Fixing the rear side of the bike was easy, but the attached strap for the front side was short and didn’t reach the tandem step. I’m thinking of looking for items at 100 yen each. The impression after installation is impeccable. It does not interfere with the muffler on the right side. Also, even when tandem riding, the side bag did not become a hindrance, and the tandem rider could ride without any issues. I feel that the quality is comparable to a side bag sold for around 10,000 yen on Japanese Amazon, and it has been sufficiently cleared. I plan to use it on a touring trip soon to check if there are any issues. By the way, there is no installation manual, but I somehow managed to figure it out. You can assemble it intuitively. The middle insert is very sturdy, and I had a bit of trouble securing it inside the bag. To reinforce the bag perfectly, it should be tightly attached as expected.

The material is not good. This supposed to be a kinda offroad bags, so be it, you expect a rough product. Heavy duty. The liner is very thin and the belts are very low quality plastic. The belt broke at the first tight. For the r1200/1250gs doesn’t fit. The bags stay loose. I don’t recommend the product since if this happens during a trip, you may be in trouble.
